For the past week and a half, campers in CSI Forensics have learned from experts about crime scene procedures. They have taken fingerprints, analyzed blood splatter, made casts and taken photos. Campers in sports broadcasting are starting to sound like real sideline reporters. They received hands-on experience through several field trips and one-on-one expert instruction, anchored live sporting events, practiced interviewing skills and did some script writing. This week in Debate, campers chose controversial topics that relate to schools, community, country and world. After topics were chosen, students researched the topics in depth before engaging in heated debates. Students have improved writing and public speaking skills as they prepare for debates. Flight School

3,2,1, blast off! Campers are in full throttle this week as they launch into their first day of flight school. This week, these aerospace engineers in training will learn how to rise off the earth and fly through the sky while gaining an understanding of the principles of lift, thrust and control. The focus is on the science and technology behind flight.
