CGI campers this week have been hitting the books. Literacy Boost campers have been working hard in the classroom to polish their reading skills before heading back to school in the fall.

The campers are using fun exercises to practice their language arts skills in small groups. At the beginning of the week, there is a short checkpoint to make sure campers are with peers on the same level as them.

Campers have been working on various skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics, reading, decoding, fluency, comprehension and writing. In addition to all the work in the classroom, campers time outside for recess as well. Keep up the hard work, campers.
