This camp is for boys & girls, ages 8-14, who want to learn about triathlon. Throughout the week, we will focus on swimming, biking and running skill development in a fun, safe group setting. Campers will prepare to complete their first triathlon, or improve upon past performance. In addition to swimming, biking and running, participants will learn how to set up and move through transitions (swim to bike and bike to run), basic every day and race day nutrition, strength training, stretching, and basic rules of the sport. Guest speakers will include a professional triathlete, youth sports psychologist, basic bike maintenance and safety professional, and youth motivational speaker. The week will culminate with a mini-triathlon!
