Campers enrolled in the Super Cool Science course with The Center for Growth and Innovation (CGI) are learning so many new things this week. After they made Ooey Gooey Slime this morning, CGI Counselor Steve showed campers how to build and wire a small motor to a car frame with a solar-panel attached to it to create a completely solar-powered car.

Once the foundation was built, each camper took their car outside and into the sun. With the help of a few strong rays of light, the solar-panels attached to each car then powered the small vehicles to move across the sidewalks. It’s super cool!
