3,2,1, blast off! Campers are in full throttle this week as they launch into their first day of flight school. This week, these aerospace engineers in training will learn how to rise off the earth and fly through the sky while gaining an understanding of the principles of lift, thrust and control. The focus is on the science and technology behind flight.

They will learn flight basics through building and flying their very own aerodynamic projects. Today they started off with a paper airplane contest before testing out a mini chopper. Later in the day, they created and tested different types of wings.
